One Bag Of Potatoes
A genuine interest in the story behind a bag of potatoes took me to a potato farmer where I was overwhelmed by the unimaginable scale of the amount of potatoes kept there in a shed. I was given a bag of potatoes to take home and became fascinated by the uniqueness of each potato. The unpredictable shapes, the roughness, the possibility of transformation.
This installation shows how I use the photographic medium in all its facets to visualize potatoes.
